The idea for the room layout of Arte a Full was inspired by cityscape scarred by a villa. Villa miseria – or short: villa – is the Argentinean name for slums. The chaos of different forms, sizes and the irregular road layout influence everyday life in a city within a city, at the boundary of a mega city. This arrangement of the villas constantly changes and recreates the cityscape over and over again.
Due to its ability to constantly develop and openly meet a changing culture, art finds a place in Arte a Full where it is involved in the production of this change. Deconstruction, boundaries or openings of room are created by the works of art themselves.
